Under the background of "dual carbon", the 16th (2023) SNEC International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Exhibition kicked off at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from May 24th to 26th. As a supporting supplier in the new energy industry, Wanxiang Cooling brought a series of cooling equipment such as closed cooling towers with automatic dampers, rare earth permanent magnet motors, and shunt water supply boxes to the exhibition, which attracted the attention of many exhibitors, and the popularity of the booth continued to be hot.

At this exhibition, Wanxiang also brought two new energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies: variable flow distribution water box and high-efficiency permanent magnet motor for cooling tower.

Based on the characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection and efficient heat dissipation, closed cooling towers have become more and more widely used in the new energy industry.
(1)Efficient heat dissipation:
When photovoltaic panels generate electricity, a lot of heat is generated. In order to keep the photovoltaic panels working stably and prolong their service life, such heat must be released immediately. Closed cooling towers can circulate cooling water to the edge of photovoltaic panels and introduce the surrounding air into the cooling tower through a fan, allowing water and air to carry out all-round heat exchange. In this way, the heat is taken away, which lowers the temperature of the photovoltaic panels and improves the efficiency of power generation.
(2)Save energy and water:
Closed cooling towers use a circulating water system during the cooling process, which greatly reduces water consumption compared to traditional open cooling towers. This water-saving performance is particularly important in the new energy industry, where many new energy technologies, such as photovoltaic and wind energy, involve large amounts of water use. At the same time, its energy-saving performance also helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in line with the requirements of the new energy industry for environmental protection.
