Warm congratulations to Taiyuan Kangheng Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. on the successful conversion of the No.1 system
On January 2, 2020, at the beginning of the new year, we had a great start!
With the joint efforts of all parties, the first system steam turbine of Taiyuan Kangheng Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. Taiyuan Environmental Sanitation Industrial Park Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant Project, which our company participated in the construction, was successfully started, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent grid connected power generation and accumulating sufficient experience for the smooth start and later operation of the second system.
Taiyuan Kangheng Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. is a long-term strategic partner of our company - a subsidiary of Shanghai Kangheng Group in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. Its construction of the Taiyuan Circular Industry Park Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project is a key construction project in Shanxi Province, with a daily processing capacity of 3000 tons of domestic waste and an annual processing capacity of 1.095 million tons, accounting for 60% of the total waste in Taiyuan City. The project will build four 750 ton mechanical grate furnace waste incineration lines and flue gas purification systems, and support the construction of two 40MW steam turbine generator units. The scale is among the top in the same industry in China, and the technology and process used are at the leading level in China.
Our company provides a steam turbine exhaust air cooling and evaporative condenser condensation device for this project, which realizes the condensation of steam turbine exhaust and ensures the corresponding back pressure for the normal operation of the steam turbine. In response to national environmental policies and considering the relatively scarce water resources in the northern region, the exhaust steam condensation of the steam turbine in this project is implemented using an air-cooled island system. At the same time, considering the comprehensive economic benefits, under extreme working conditions, the air-cooled island combined with the evaporative condenser equipment jointly meets the requirements of the evaporative condensation process.
Our company's equipment has been installed on site since August 2019. With strong support from leaders at all levels and the efforts of on-site personnel, the installation work of all air-cooled island and evaporative condenser systems was successfully completed in December 2019, fully meeting the owner's requirements for turbine start-up operation. And on January 2, 2020, Project One System was successfully converted!
